Normal for Norfolk

You may have seen the popular BBC series about Wiverton Hall featureing Desmond and family who own the hall.

Biult in the 17th century it is situated between Blakeney and Cley.  Among Norfolks most popular venues.  Visitors can PYO fruit, or visit the the caf'e for refreshments

Houton Hall and park

Holkham Hall estate, a favorite place for visitors and locals. The hall is generally open to the public until the end of October. The grounds are open all through the year and are the home of much wildlife including herds of deer, and birdlife.  The wonderful Holkham beach situated on the north side of the park is bordered by fir trees, and is a must visit.

Sandringham and park

Almost everybody would know the majestic Sandringham Hall and its lovely grounds are a favorite home to the royal family, especially around Christmas when the Queen is here. The hall is only open to the public for pre-booked visits during the summer months,  but the grounds are open along with the restaurant throughout the year.

The very grand Houghton hall has wonderful gardens, and they are open to the public some of the time including the Stables caf'e. Contact the website link above for opening time infomation

 

Pensthorpe nature park

An excellent natural nature park, lovely gardens, and a children's adventure park.  Eat out in the Courtyard Cafe. Pensthorpe has so much more available, so the best way to find out about all they offer would be to visit their website for details.

RSPB nature reserve

Find out everything you would like to know about birds and their habitat. Toilets, car park, cafe, and shop and much more all available here in Titchwell

Wells and Walsingham light railway
All these places are within approximately     15 miles from Brancaster

Visit the website for the time table and ticket prices.  Constructed on the old Great Eastern track bed, and completed in 1982.  Great fun not to be missed if you like trains.

Snettisham wild life park
An excellent park to visit. See wildlife and farm animals at close quarters. Take a trip on theDeer Safari tractor. There is also a tea room and shop.
